Our next full mountain day will take place on Feb 6. Alun Pugh will lead a winter day on the Glyderau. Please come prepared for winter conditions.

Rob Collister is unable to join us on Saturday Feb 6 and so our Director will meet the group at Ogwen Cottage at 9.30. The day will be determined by the weather but a traverse of the Glyderau or maybe an ascent of Y Garn (pictured) will be the order of the day. It is probable that there will be some snow or ice cover and so full winter equipment (protective clothing, four season boots, ice axe and crampons) will be required for safety. Please keep an eye on the weather and ring the office if you require guidance.

All walks are open to non-members - but you are most welcome to join!

Members will be receiving a Spring mailing in March - our events diary to September 2010 will come with the members' magazine. The first walk in the new programme will be a tour around Cwm Idwal with author and geologist Paul Gannon. Paul is a good friend of Snowdonia and the Society and his walks are always popular. We are working on an Easter date for this event, and details will be placed on this site and in the members' mailing.
