Snowdonia Marathon donates £1,000 to Snowdonia Society
The Snowdonia Marathon was first run in 1982 and now attracts 2,200 runners; a popular event and always oversubscribed. This year it will be run on Saturday 26th October.

Plas Tan y Bwlch was one of the first houses in Wales to have electricity with a Gilkes turbine installed in 1884. Today, 129 years later, a new Gilkes turbine is powering the Plas.
